    Not for a while here. It’s the complete lack of warmth and any dry spells that are killing it here

    Yeah true ,its been a awful summer here even June wasn’t brilliant barring a week. Been some usable days here and there but the worst of the weather seems to coincide with weekends

    Actually turned out better than expected here today with not much rain although cloudy all day. Managed to get to 18 Celsius at one point. Looks extremely wet tonight and tomorrow expecting 20-30mm of rain

    China also broke its cold record last winter a astonishing 105 Celsius difference that’s crazy

    Nothing usable about the day here, soon as I finished work it was yet again pouring down. Plus side is the kids new wellies are getting loads of use the BBQ not so much Indoor temp now down to 20.1 which is dressing gown temp for mrs seabreeze And not everybody had a hot June

    I actually asked the met Office this question but somebody on here might know Do they use station data or satellite data to make these maps. The closest official station to here is miles away , used to be loftus but they don’t use that anymore I don’t think

    Give me last years heat over this dross any time We didn’t even have a brilliant June here like everyone else just scrapped above average although at least it was dry

    The weather feels more like late summer early autumn today. Really hoping for a return to settled weather for the school holidays I don’t mind if it’s hot just warm enough for beach days
