Even the streamer seems to have packed up for us now. Very frustrating day here.

You can almost guarantee that Fridays event will end in more misery for us West Midlanders. Temperature is right down here. Amazed still not snow.

Poster on North West thread just posted a NAE chart showing a cheshire gap streamer this evening as snow. Hope this is right.

I would have hoped the showers would be snow by now. It seems that we will get nothing out of these showers as it is still too mild.

Sleet shower here. Come on. Turn to snow. Oh please! Anyone any idea how long these showers will be going for as we desperately need the tempratures to drop?

This streamer is going to be rubbish as temperatures are too high. Typical. Our only chance is if we get showers tonight but we wont.

Quite a few showers heading in off Irish sea. Will these be of snow or is this damn mild sector going to ruin things for us if the showers get here?

Really hoping the snow gods are looking down on us and we just get a bit of snow later on from some showers. We have been so unlucky today in parts of the West Midlands. Even London may get snow later. Please let us join in on the fun. It is gut wrenching seeing other areas getting snow whilst we have the crap we had this morning. I can see the event later in the week being rubbish knowing our luck.

Any chance this band might drift back westwards later on? I saw some mention of this on BBC last night.

Shocking here. Crappy rain. Utter rubbish for some of us but good that some of us are getting snow. So frustrating when I think what could have been but instead it is just awful out there now.
