    Do you reckon that we'll get snow on the A449 corridor on Saturday/ Sunday Blizzards? I'm about 6 miles out of Wolverhampton in Lower Penn near Wombourne.

    Im with you on this. I hope it does snow at the weekend but you can guarantee it will go pear shaped and we will get nothing!

    I'm hoping the weekend does bring us some decemt snow at last but obviously I'm not counting my chickens! One thing I will say is it is bloomin freezing today! We should have some hard frosts the next few nights with clearing skies and maybe even some freezing fog and hoar frosts.

    From what I have seen this cold spell looks very uninspiring for the Midlands. It just looks bone dry with no chance of snow. Even today and tomorrows event has predictably gone!

    What a non event last night turned out to be. To make matters worse according to the BBC forecast I have seen it could be game over with no snow showers for us as it looks too warm.

    Oh dear. I cant believe how much it has changed tonight. It now looks like we'll end up with nothing tomorrow night when it all looked so good earlier. Hopefully it will look more positive tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath.
