I've just been on North West thread and it looks to me like it could be all over for us guys in the west. Manchester is reporting rain. Gutted. I thought the models had shifted the warm sector away further west last night? Looks like BBC were right all along.

Still snowing here too. Good little covering. Hope tomorrow is all snow aswell.

Nice covering here now. Hoping that tomorrows front is snow. Quite a few posters seem to suggest there has been an upgrade for tomorrows snow for the Midlands. I hope so.

I keep seeing this but from the latest forecast I have seen on BBC the warm sector will scupper any chances of snow for most of the midlands tomorrow. I hope the BBC are wrong but we are very close to the event now and it seems to be getting worse for our prospects for snow tomorrow if they are right.

The forecast I saw showed the North East Midlands would be all snow but for the rest of the region it would be all rain. Certainly a big downgrade by the BBC compared to earlier charts I had seen. Hope they are wrong but they clearly think the warm sector will play a big factor and mean rain for most of the Midlands whilst parts of the East get pounded.

BBC forecast I just saw with Jay Wynne is shocking for quite a bit of the midlands tomorrow. Would be all rain! Really hope this is wrong.

How will this all pep up? There is virtually nothing to pep up on the radar. Whats the betting it peps up when it gets East of the Midlands?! Smashes head against brick wall!

Will we ever get snow in the area? So frustrating. We will end up with nothing again.

My feeling is that it will snow tomorrow night but we washed away by rain on Monday in West Midlands. Areas East of Bham look ok at the moment but it will be gut wrenching for us in the West. I also wouldnt be surprised to see the charts look even worse for us tomorrow as we get nearer the event which would be just bloomin typical! I pray that I am wrong but I've not got a good feeling about Monday whatsoever. The latest BBC forecast looked crap for us aswell.

To me it looks like Mondays event is going tits up. Big downgrade looking at some of the charts tonight. Very disappointed.

I will be totally gutted if we get rain on Monday whilst many other areas get pounded by snow. I just pray that my location isnt too far West. Bloody Mild sector.

Really hope we all get some snow on Monday and Sunday night. I'm in South Staffs, just outside of Wombourne. I havent got a clue what to expect now on Monday.

The BBC forecast earlier showed snow over all of the Midlands on Sunday night and then another heavier band coming in on Monday.

The Easterly that looked so good a few days ago is now going to be a load of rubbish by the looks of it! Typical! I just hope the models change for the better in th next few days and not get any worse!

Looks like it will be game over for snow today/tonight and I can see it being boring and dry next week whilst the east gets pounded knowing our luck!

I'm in South Staffs a few miles from Wombourne and we got around 8 inches of snow that December which lasted for over a week! Lying snow on Christmas day was amazing then it all started thawing on boxing day night.

December 2010 was amazing where I am. I just hope this December can be as good if not better.

Forecast that I watched earlier on BBC seemed to be suggesting we may well get a light covering of snow in the early hours of Wednesday. They also mentioned that a rain band is coming in on Thursday and may turn to snow. Certainly interesting times ahead I think.
