  1. LOLOL if only that moderte risk and Level was jsut slightly further west, im like litereally just 20/30 miles out side it :L, tbh I think whatever comes out of the continent tomorrow will hit just about anywhere a long the South coast and South east tomorrow the whole weekend has big potential!
  2. Ahh ok no worries, thankyou anyway There is so mid level Cumulus here and AcCas clouds, it has gone a bit humid too hmmmm I wonder if anything could pop up this evening
  3. Ahaa cheers for that , is there like any daily ones that show on actually dates if you get what I mean?
  4. Can someone send me a link that shows lightning archives, just want to look at storms in the past that has occured Would be much appreciated
  5. It looks like storms could be running right a long the South east and South coast tomorrow, also this evening GFS shows some precip over us around 6pm with a bit of cape so maybe something could pop up this evening
  6. I think if any storms move in from the continent on friday Afternoon into the evening and night hours will be semi elevated or Elevated, even with the cloud cover. You don't need that much cape for Elevated Thunderstorms, I remember 25th June 2009 thunderstorms moved up from the South east over here and the lifted was only about 0 to -1 Lifted and about 100-200kg of cape over my area got a good lightning display too
  7. That is very true and yeh just forget the rain dance I tried too but starting snowing instead :S true story :L I think we are well over due a good storm year, and its been quite a good start already around the UK, take last weekend for example, Your time will come this year Jane
  8. Hello Jane I hope your right that would be pretty cool, but hey stay positive and you may something as well, do a rain dance or summet loooool Good luck to you too
  9. Hmm we had a Mid level convective shower at around 11pm, only light but spots were really big, thats the 2nd day in a row of Mid level convectiveness about, maybe a sign of things to come haha.
  10. That would be pretty amazing if that did happen, but hey it isn't impossible for it to happen again , I just looked at chart Archive on 9th may 2001 compared to friday and I have to say as well that it looks almost similar just Almost.
  11. Don't worry yet guys there still few days to go , who knows it could turn out to be a Beast from the east for all we know (Thunderstorm wise)
  12. Cheers pal, things definatly looking interesting at the moment Just as I thought just pure sunshine now and that thundery looking sky has gone got some AcCas about still though
  13. Lol, I don't think anything will happen, the cloud is being killed off and sun is back out
  14. Hi Jane Tell you what it has that look to it that could produce a rumble or 2 if luck The sun has now gone behind the cloud now too
  15. Strange we have a lot of Ac Cas over us at the moment but there looks like some mid level convection coming over here to our north I can see about 3 Anvils and looks dark under neath them :o
  16. Looks like round 2 maybe for the weekend coming up :L, still quite far out but is definatly worth keeping an eye I reckon
  17. I think there needs to be a little more patience, I mean look at friday in those places in the north convection didn't properly get going until about 5pm Dont panic guys still plenty of tiem for development and I have been expecting any convection to get going later today Chin up people
  18. Wow temperature 21.7c but the Dewpoint is up to 14.7c which is quite impressive, hopefully a good sign
  19. Hmm today looks interesting to me, I wouldnt be at all suprised if we got a storm or 2 as in land IOW can heat things up and generate showers/storms as well. 28th April 2009 was an example, though different conditions we actually developed our own storm in centere of the Island, so my fingers ae crossed. Good luck everyone today hope you all get a storm
  20. I wouldn't be suprised if the IOW will catch 1 of these, as they drift down something I have notice over the years on the Island is that, when it tries crossing the solent it dies a little but whenit hits the Island, the inland part of here tends to give any storms knew life, for and Island the IOW isn't that small and can heat up very nicely in the centre. My fingers are crossed Had pretty much a horrid storm chase today :/, got hold up by so much traffic so whatever cell we got too just died and couldn't reach the lot out in London area either ahhhh fudgsticks better luck next time I guess :L Well done to all that got storms today anyways
  21. Well Im never up this early on a saturday but for storms im always up, and couldnt sleep anyway as im going on my first storm chase of the year today and looks like could be well worth it I hope, my fingers are crossed Wish me luck people and good to everyone today as well
  22. Buzzing really is looking good on the radars now Can't wait for my first storm chase of the season tomorrow
  23. 24. We just had a bunch of Jelly fish lookig clouds to our north, NE and NW, looked pretty cool and I think it was from a dying shower too
