I think you could be right, but if this was october time these areas can do well in due to the warmer sea temps and cooler land temps if htat is right i have no idea lol. But yeh fingers crossed for some thunder

Looks okay for here on those could get some hevay showers out of those hopefully and if lucky a rumble of thunder would be nice, im gunna stay positive. Haha, okay how about 2 of them, one out in the sandown bay which is where im facing and another for the bit between IOW and Mainland, does that sound fair

Think i might join in a lttle bit, I wish for a big supercell with violent lightning and for it to produce a huge waterspout along with torrential hail . Oh and to make sure the lightning is every 2 to 5 secs mmm and with very storng wind gusts

Wheyyy welcome back rain, yup its raining and quite heavy too ive missed the rain. Its quite warm too and humid.

just had some light rqain stopped not long ago but now its dry and humid with a bit of cloud about, temperature 21.5c but 22.5c in newport.

Hey all had a unexpected spell of light rain earlier but the rain spots were quite big and it feels humid, I am looking forward to Wednesday even if we don't see anything it will be nice to see some convection

Wednesday does look interesting and theres even some cape over us my fingers are crossed , been very poor year for storms here so far had only 1 decent storm so far which was end of march but im still keeping positive.

I hope your right about the pompey area, i think my side of the Island might just far enough easwards to see at least some distant lightning my fingers are crossed.

Looks like it will miss us again by only a couple miles :L, still penty of time for it to change I hope

If the current outlook is still there by saturday night then I would say most likely areas will Bournmouth/IOW east wards, anyone else agree? I could be completely wrong.

Maybe that lightning in the solent was where he heard the thunder, thing is though i didnt even know it had been raining and looke doutside and it was very wet and I asked my friend if its been raining heavy and he said it was hammering it down. I also asked him if I missed any thunder and he said only a couple of rumbles but they wasn't close. Here we have a bit a cumulus clouds about but yeh it does go hot when the sun comes out i know what you mean B).

That shower that came up last night was very heavy where I was but according to a friend of mine there was a couple of rumbles with it but not close rumbles B).
