A bit of rain here, not heavy but light.

The storms seem to be a lot further east? Chances of a London area arrival?

Look up the Jarred event, absolutely fascinating on a day of high cape and little apparent shear.
In really cape showing that far in the future always gets watered down anyway. Even when it is good it’s often capped. So many pieces of the puzzle have to fit together in this country to get anything decent!
Edit: wrong tornado event.

Having once sat under 9000 Cape in Kansas with not a cloud in sight those charts mean zip all Oliver without a trigger. That Cape builds due to the heat and some mid thirties days. Lets hope for the North West that something fires them off
We all know what can happen with cape that high though, May 3rd 1999 comes to mind.

So what do we reckon southeast folk? Suns out now and feeling humid again. We’ve got the whole afternoon and evening to go.
I do not think storms will intiate for the Southeast today, looking at the estofex forecast. I would be pleased to be proven wrong.

Heavy rain in now.

Can hear a bit of thunder from those storms west of London.

Had a huge crack of thunder here at about 6:30/7pm, and a 5 minute shower. Really nice to see so much activity around recently, I
have had more thunder days so far this year than 2019 and 2018 combined.- 1

Hefty shower passing just to the south looks mean but just rain.

Best daytime storm for a few years, I didn't get any footage because I always feel that when I film a storm than I actually miss out on the moment itself.
