Like I said far South East is the place to be tonight. Unless some storms start firing west of IOW then most of the South East will be left disappointed.

Looks very much like a a far southern eastern event.

Is it me or does everything look like its more east shifting?

Considering the risk it is dead here.
No hype. No posts. Nothing.
Gloriously predicting a fail in beddy but the chase is always the best thing.

Came across this channel a few years back when he was creating his own mine in the US, this video recently popped into my subscription box.
He talks about the science behind why you can hear thunder underground before you can hear it through the air, really interesting topic.

second thunderstorm of the day here in Watford, couple of really good claps of thunder lots of hail. Decent day!

Here is a great article written by Katie Wheatley:
May 3-4, 1999 tornado outbreak and the Bridge Creek-Moore F5
-
Today marks the 20th anniversary of the May 3rd 1999 Oklahoma tornado outbreak that took 40 lives, the highest wind speed ever recorded and a significant portion of it was broadcast live most likely saving 10's if not 100's of lives.

I have had very little rain, it evaporated within an hour.
-
Glad some people have got the rain that is needed but nothing here, oh well, better luck next time for me.
-
Dry as a bone still. Temperature has dropped considerably though, all that heat and no fun for me.
-
Can hear thunder from that storm over London, I want a storm too lol.
-
Had a few minutes of rain and a few rumbles but all has evaporated now and its insanely humid!
-
Some rumbles of thunder and a bit of light rain but the drops where large.
-
So the stuff west of London refuses to go up. Probably bed time for me.
-
I can occasionally see lightning flashes reflected by the high clouds here in N.Watford from the storms North of here.
-
Apparently north of the M25 is the best for storm development (Like always), keeping an eye on the stuff South West of London.
