    Cold here, grey skies and a sprinkling of snow dust left on surfaces from last nights midnight shower. Happy new year everyone.

    Wow that model thread, how can it be so pessimistic with what is being shown? Years have gone where the thread title could have been “the non stop Zonal train” or “The hunt for the 6 hour toppler” © People should sit back and relax, at least we are seeing something different this winter.

    It has snowed here (although not that great but a covering at least) twice this winter and I’ve seen snow Xmas day. That beats the last two winters combined and there looks to be opportunities for further this week. And that’s not even mentioning what the models have been throwing out I am more than happy with winter 20/21 so far

    Only snow events, rain events have no problem.

    About right when I have to get up tomorrow for 5am and drive to work. Why can’t it snow when I’m off work?? Why does it always fail, why??

    Well to miss two snow events inside 24 hours by a few miles north and south is a real jaffa cakeser.

    If what the 12z’s are showing came true we wouldn’t need to worry.

    Well I didn’t expect to stay below the streamer line all day but oh well. Im still hopeful

    Check the radar north of Anglesey, that should have our name on it.

    Will drop with the showers. The main interest is tonight, when we could hit something more organised.
