Rather disappointing, been looking forward to today but now i cant really see anything happening in my area looking at the charts :/ Glad people in the SE got a storm, looked like a monster on the radar earlier!

I have a good feeling about today, wasnt expecting any activity untill much later in the day...

The sky has gone rather convective looking round these parts, But im not expecting any storms seems as the capping is pretty strong. Just a case of clouds bubbling up in the heat of the day, they wont be around for long i suspect.

Had a brilliant storm today in kempston, flooded roads the power went off and had some wicked lightning (for once) Took this at lunchtime today

Well that was a huge bust :/ Drove all the way to dunstable downs and woo rain and lots of it! Heard maybe one rumble? oh well maybe we will get a MCS next year... think i will head back home now

Thats a Huge area of rain leaving the bay of Biscay, Possibly one of the most exciting sat24 runs i have seen in a long while! Gunna have a hard time topping the lightning we had here the other day though.. Good luck everyone!

Im pretty sure given the very unstable air mass there will be some pretty beefy storms erupting in the evening today so please people don't give up just yet! Sun needs to do its work first.

Just done a all nighter.. watching lightning!! To the north of Bedford all night was one of the best lightning displays i have seen in the uk for 10 years! I was on top of Kempston Wood which has a 360 degree view of Bedfordshire. Dear god i watched till the sun came up! just got home and im kicking myself for forgetting the camera thinking it would be a non event haha. Just got home still rumbling. I suspect some very powerful storms in the area this afternoon :D:D I hope everyone got what they wanted, thing looks BEAST on the radar!
