    Just been in the garden to cloud check, very odd with the light rain falling and the patio still warm under foot! I have to agree the smell of summer rain is wonderfull! Lol im fully expecting that to happen yet again. Might have to move to linconshire, cheapest house prices in the uk....

    Went to work this morning after watching the bbc weather which said rain from afternoon onwards. But god damn its been warm this afternoon, probably the warmest day so far this year in my location! So much for rain storms lmao, you cant make it up! we are dying of storm deprivation over here!

    Teny tiny storm over oxford slowly making its way to bedford/milton keynes. Oh wait its dying! was getting worried there, we only get 1 storm a year here which was last week. Cant wait for next summer!!

    The rain has arrived lol!! Bit of an bust for my area, some people had some monster cells this morning so i hope you luucky people enjoyed it! Cheer up everyone summer is far from over yet! Still wouldn't rule out a few rouge cells to grow behind the cold front this afternoon...

    Plenty of rain on the radar to the south of here, sadly there doesn't seem to be much lightning! So far staying up all night hasn't payed off

    To be fair the storms always seem to go either side of us in bedford due to the topography, I would suggest going storm chasing after midnight tonight if you want to see anything! I will be on the tallest hill with camera primed towards the sandy heath tower, providing the strong cap can burst....

    Very shocking! it grew right over us for a change! Looking at the radar i would suggest there will be another in the next 30 mins. Im off up to kempston wood hill to watch hopefully! Good luck fellow bedfordian!
