    I've got my eyes on the cell thats between Nottingham and Mansfield at the moment. If it takes a similar path to the big one just to the SSW of me now, then I'm going to get a direct hit...

    Looking at the radar, that Chesterfield/Worksop/Mansfield cell is swinging to the NE a bit.

    Couple more cells seem to be spouting up near Leicester.

    The other concern is if that line of cells stalls and the ones to the North and west in the Peaks 'catch' up, then theres going to be an almighty line of storms

    Some rotation on the back edge of the cell thats just passed over me near Doncaster, the sky is pretty clear now..

    Once I know if that cell near Chesterfield now crosses the M1 without problem, I may go out to have a look, as it looks like its going to track up the south side of the M18. That southernmost one, near Coalville/Ashby looks quite threatening.

    Getting some interesting rain and thunder from the line of cells just passing Doncaster, the heavy stuff is about to pass me.

    Thunder rolling in here as well.. Sky not as dark as you'd expect, but its definitely rumbling.

    Yep, looks that sort of way. Dewpoint here is 12, and its definitely very warm and muggy already.
