Been quite a few cells near the channel coastline over Devon and Cornwall this afternoon, with slight convergent sfc winds towards that region on recent obs. Be interesting to see if there are any reports of funnels or spouts around that region or just offshore, as convective cloud bases are, or should be, a little lower today than has been the case over the past few days.
Trough shown on fax (06UTC) shows the focus of the showers/storms:

LAds ... whats this all serious talk about having to get SPECIFIC storm chase insurance?... ANy good personnel insurance will simply do.
ANy of us here in ireland have to go by that as no1 in ireland do anything of the sort . I even contacted the insurance brokers and explained my trip and they simply said any extreme sports / activity insurance will do.
60 euro per trip... done and dusted.

Which site were you trying to view a stream from? Will see whats behind it and test on my mac? What browser, Safari.. something else?
tornado videos .net or any other one using the iMap Live streams.
Tried on Safari , Google chrome and firefox. Its a load of mo hón! haha

LOL Ian. BTW, your probably missing Silverlight for you Mac for some of the streams. I know severe studios player is Silverlight based.

I could only imagine what a sudden overnight wake up call to the sirens going off would be like!

" k everyone , i looked out my window and from what i can see , we have a low wall cloud to our NSWNE , rotation on it is PHENOMENAL , the storm looks to be kickin it at 40mph so we have approximately 10 mins to get to shelter! * .... THis could be my FIRST NIGHT-Time INTERCEPT at ... 3.05... AM ! Boo yawh!! ... *COughs* ... Now ... EVERYONE TO THE BASEMENT lets go lets go .... LETS GO LETS GO ! * MAkes Car beeping noise * ... ye the radar looks good , the cell west of Concordia is looking nice , ye even though its linear im sure it could drop a nado breifly , nice hail in it now. What a good site for dp temp reports?

Lads , i cant seem to load any streams from the chase pages.
I click on the stream names and nothing happens? ... Im on a mac so dunno what the reason is for it.
ANyone have or Had similar problems? Looks like i missed a Tornado on one of the Streams

The fact its a warm sunny day outside makes it feel like chase time is getting closer! Looking forward to meeting the newbies in Oxford in just over a weeks time!
Ian you reckon your a storm magnet, I reckon I have to be one of the luckiest chasers around! 2 years, 2 tours hit the jackpot! I wanna get closer this year ALOT closer!
Can't wait to fill up on mountain dew and cheap steak either!
It certainly does have that Storm Chase feel to it! , another 15 o C or so added to it and we could be in with some luck! haha!
True true!....Northern lights too! We'll have to strengthen our own magnetism though as we'll be on our seperate journeys with nature's best ...

That was such a AWESOME 60mins of pure adrenaline!! ha! , so much so that none of us even brought up the idea of running across the road to get in a photo with it!!! ha . I also love the part of the wedge where me and Dave are like " oh crap wheres that heading to!?! " ... meaning is it gonna hit a town or not.... Paul SHerman always in chase mode he replies... " its ok it ok!... i have an East road here... i have and east road coming up " hahahaa .... * ENTERS FOREST* ha!

.... Im a storm magnet ! .... ... On flying into dallas i got a nice distance orangey thunderstorm.... tornadoes throughout the 10 days. Watched a lightning storm instead of eating normally at a table at a restaurant. Arriving back in Dublin i get treated by... yep.... a THUNDERSTORM! Im tellings yas ... ill arrive off the plane and a big anvil crawler will light up the sky... " WELCOME BACK IAN!! "

WOo! ... finally got around to deciding about being able to go.... tour 5 team..... I shall be seeing yous on the 13th on June!
Got flights €650 which is down a €100 from last year so delighted with that!
Arriving in Denver on the 12th at 6pm . Gonna look for a place to stay for the night on Monday.
Cannot wait!
