  1. interesting my weather station had a fast drop within 15 minutes of dewpoint (3 and a half degree fall) and humidity (temperature didn't move much) wasn't a shower not sure what caused it
  2. Texas storm chasers on YouTube are on that storm, don't think sharing the link is allowed but should be easy enough to find
  3. Lightning with the cell near Cupar (were some strikes earlier south of Elgin) think I see the tops of it but its moving the wrong direction for me to get a good look
  4. Having my normal look at the wrf nmm and something stood out for around 6pm tonight in the NE, you tend to get more spin in the atmosphere with low pressures and that is shown along with a small but quite unstable area there is a small amount of CIN but you can look at that in a few ways either it kills any convection off or sometimes if the other ingredients look strong enough cells can still develop which I think could happen this time the main thing I would be looking out for is funnels and could be a bit of thunder @Mair Snaw
  5. clouds bubbling up they look pretty nice on sat, anyone got a view of them? Just light showers from them on radar.
  6. Weak CAPE develops through the day tomorrow and showers will want to try develop with convergence zone attempting to set up but with pressure being around 1030-1032 hpa that will also make it tough for the showers to develop, think in the highlighted area along any convergence clouds will try bubble up maybe some light showers at most after that an interesting question which is hard to ask without it sounding weird what’s the highest pressure recording from a low pressure we have had the low coming in looks to be around 1015>1013 hpa
  7. Storms likely to start intensifying tonight with a 2nd area developing further SE in Spain with possible MCS moving north into central areas
  8. Sounds good, like the idea of the separate bits for the more extreme events (storms, BFTE etc) might make it a bit easier to go back and find them map idea is interesting too.
  9. Looks like Portugal and Spain will see storms developing from late on Friday and through weekend, first ones could be along the trough
