Apparently, we're going to get -10C in Cheltenham.

The car park at work was the most treacherous part of my journey this morning. My home road is iced over. The snow that we had (2-3 inches) yesterday is still laying - now hard an crusty. We received no more snow today. Very chilly right now. Windscreen wipers were frozen to the windscreen.

OK radar lies. It is still snowing here and radar has none over my area. It does however, have the whole midlands chunk marching South again. According to that, it will be over my house again in the small hours. Elsewhere, there is a steady stream of rain coming Eastwards into Cornwall and South Devon. I wonder if the cold pool will travel South and turn this to snow for you guys there?

Ooh. Radar snow prediction had the snowline moving away North towards Birmingham and shrinking away from the North. It now has it moving South again!

Unless there's a non-stop Bristol channel train, I'm not sure where this is coming from. GFS 12z - xcweather. Perhaps the 18z says differently?

We have about three inches (there will be much more than this on the hills) which, given we seem to always have less accumulation than the surrounding area, is quite remarkable. It could have been so much better than this though, given the 12 hour continuous snowfall we've had! I await the frozen shenanigans tomorrow morning.

Cheltenham still has a snow blob over it on radar - and its still snowing lightly lol. Will I be all alone in here now?

Snowline is pushing away Northwards now at a pace now.

Still snowing steadily here. Small flakes. Everywhere white or slushy white. Temp steady at 0C.

Tomorrow will be an ice fest. GFS have upgraded the cold, so we have potentially a full ice day (keeping our snow - and slush ) with temps plunging to -6C after dark. Couple of cars have been struggling to park where I am. No gritter for us as we are not a main road.

GFS has it snow all night into tomorrow here. Then an ice day finishing in -5C at drive time. Tomorrow will be interesting.
