Storm and Convective Discussion 23rd June Onwards
> mark replied to Nick L's topic in Storms & Severe Weather
Been out for a short while and warm, sunny and pretty sticky here this morning! It's the local school fair today (not fayre as discussed here http://www.telegraph.co.uk/lifestyle/9390015/Oliver-Pritchett-Its-fair-not-fayre.html) so I'm hoping for a fairly dry day. It'd be nice to have a âš¡ to clear the air but without rain, is that even possible? -

South East England & East Anglia Regional Weather Discussion 01/03/14
> mark replied to Snowangel-MK's topic in Regional
Wow ...... what a wonderful day, this is more like it. Not sure if it is an official recording but RAF Northolt has reached 20oC today. More of the same please, bring on the clock change as well I have to wonder as well, those few that stuck their necks out several weeks, even months ago and said winter was over and a non-event; would they be entitled to an apology from the snow lovers whom shot them down?- 747 replies

I managed to throw a snowball in Sweden last week and there is a reasonable covering in Norway at the moment but as the locals in both countries say ........ it's been a warm winter for them also! -

Winter 2013/2014 Forecasts/Hopes/Discussion Thread
> mark replied to Cheshire Freeze's topic in Spring Weather Discussion
Given the size, shape and geographical location of the UK any forecast more than t +6hrs can be pretty "out"! Just look at his week, we were predicted biblical rain until about 2 hours out when it all split W & E. What will be, will be. Damn if the computers could work out the weather in advance then why not predict the lotto numbers ....... would be better odds! -
Have a guess what is happening here in the tropics of Bucks!!!
