    don't be fooled. if your DP is low u wont get a harsh frost. I have a bucket of water in the garden and it is frozen solid from top to bottom. must have got pretty low last night

    Also i have noticed in this cold snap that alot of troughs and showers have died and the energy remains and the showers reinvigorate as they hit land. Is this a possibillity with the showers from the north east? The energy cud remain after Crossing pennines and then reinvigorate? GFS shows ppn popping up over merseyside overnight

    Nothing on radar but this cud produce something? Also the low over ne scotland bends the isos and cud give us a nwley overnight. This could introduce shower activity

    That band over inverness is what we should get around 02:00 tomorrow as seen here. It's already beefier than the image shows you but this isn't always a good thing. looks to be our last in the next 48hrs

    agreed shud be cold in winter doesnt matter about snow although i do like it. When inwas a kid there used to be icycles the size of spades hanging off bridges and window ledges we used to eat them on way to school The 1992 epic snowfall we had a foot of snow easilly and webhad cats than would burrow through it lol

    the flakes were huge. Once it came therebwas no stopping it. Git about three inches. Wass brill night but will be gone today Freezing fog too after the snow
