Had two heavy snow showers this afternoon! Lasting about 10-15 mins each. Temp down to 1.4° in the showers. Wasn't expecting anything at all here today

Temp down to 2.8° from a high of 8.3° at about 2am. I can see from the radar its starting to turn to snow over the mountains in the N & NW!

Had about 4cm this morning! When I left for work at 7.30am it was already starting to thaw.

Just brought the dogs for a walk and the snow is deeper than it looked! Its almost 2cm and its snowing a little heavier now too! Its the most snow I've had this winter so far

Its been snowing a little heavier with larger flakes for an hour with about 1cm now! -0.3° hopefully there will be a couple of cm's by morning

Its been snowing here since about 9pm! Very light though only a covering of a few mm's deep, every thing is white though! Temp is currently -0.2°

Temp dropping now to -2.6° from -0.5° an hour ago.

I think this is the trough coming down the west cost of Scotland. It could bring some snow to eastern counties and has showers behind it!

Light snow shower left a dusting! On the radar it looks like the showers are coming from a more northerly direction but seem less intense. Is that trough still to move down tonight?

Had an extremely heavy shower of hail mixed with rain @ 8pm the winds were insane very strong and blowing from all different directions! The temp dropped from 9° to 5° during the 5 min shower and it left a couple of cm's of slush on the ground! The temp hasn't risen since and the rain has cleared on the radar, so I went to look at the NW forecast to see if the temp was to stay low and this is what it was showing! the system is obviously down lol

Just drove home from Dublin. Very dense fog in places and temp down 0°! Dangerous driving conditions!

Drizzle finaly cleared! Frost starting to set in. Hopefully we will see some snow showers over night. We will see in the morning ;-)
