    There was similar scenes in 1983 I think it was, in Dublin anyway, I was only a kid so not sure how widespread it was. Does anyone know if its still looking good for the south at the end of the week?

    Picture taken 7.30 this morning Longford. On my way to work snow from Longford to Mullingar 1 deg. Then Rain/sleet to Dublin 2 deg.

    Its currently 2°c feels more like -2°c, ice on the cars, lovely night, feels like winter! :-)

I have not been following his forecasts in the past, so I can't speak for his reliability. This is my first post, so please go easy on me :-) I am a newbie(but have loved weather since I was a child). I have been following the threads on this forum for the last couple of months and have really enjoyed learning from you guy's :-) James
