Absolutely hammering it down. Had 28.3mm since midnight really gusty too. Temp has plummeted in the last 30min. Was 9.6 at 9.30 now 4.9°C -
Just went outside to bring the chooks water in and it's snizzling!

Had a covering of snow earlier when temp was 1.4 and dp at 1°C so anything is possible. Really hope those without get a dusting later with the showers coming down from the north. Now temp 0.4 with dp -0.2 and moderate snow.

Happy New Year all! Nice sparkle to everything outside and the moon is amazing. It was -4°C but gone up a little to -2.8°C but still raw out there. Here's to a cold and snowy 2021 ❄❄❄ 20210101_003751.mp4

Sleet to snow on the back edge. Big flakes too. 1°C temp drop in 10 min. Currently 1.2 dp somewhere around 1 ish.

Very light dusting overnight in Stroud. Still a bit hanging around from yesterday on the hill tops. Thinking the stuff coming down from the north will be a sleety mix at best but hope I'm wrong. Really tough for you guys further south so hoping you get some nice surprises over the coming days

That was what the weather station was saying. Dp only reports to a whole number so was probably 0.6 or something.

Welcome to the SW Wotton is great for snow. Growing up around there spent many a day sledging down the hills! Can be cut off with major snow but not had that for years Fab to see the usual suspects returning for another year but still one question to be answered ............... Will it snow in Cardiff? this is the year for epic snow for all of us!

Really frosty here this morning with thick fog too! It was -3.8°C at 7 this morning. Still -1.8°C now brrrrr! Coldest it's been for a loooong time. So beautiful

It's roaring through the valley that's for sure. Lost our garden room roof about 30 min ago and now ripped the neighbours fence including the posts out of concrete! Really seems worse than anything we've had in winter. -

Had a cracking view of the Midlands storm from Stroud. Good hour or so of near continuous lightning, just tailing off now. As much as I love an overhead storm I think I like this set up just as much! Sat out on a warm evening, bbq and a glass of red wine whilst watching lightning flickering in the distance
