Can't see the M4 around Swindon on the radar now so moving in the right direction and looking tasty around Painswick to the north but only the odd flakes in Stroud so far Radar....couldn't make it up! Hopefully will get some later. If not I'm having a lovely cosy evening ☺ Lush seeing some of you on the coast getting some snow

Morning all! Beautiful sunny crisp frosty morning here in Stroud earlier although the cloud is now rolling in. Got down to -4 last night and currently -2.5. Most amazing thing so far today is we also had a frost inside. Extension was at -0.3 earlier and ice on the wrong side of the window! Brr! glad I moved the plants into the warm bit of the house last night. Good luck today everyone. Really hoping there are some nice surprises for those who think they'll miss out!

Wow! 15 pages sinve i last logged on! Things are hotting up or should I say cooling down in here Currently -2.1°C Been up in Bisley and Birdlip today. Don't think it got much above 2°C all day. Brrr! They had a dusting of snow on the ground from last night still there at 5pm tonight. Always a sweet spot for snow, should be amazing up there tomorrow evening! Almost tempted to go back up but don't want to get stuck! So hoping everyone in our region gets to see something. Getting excited now! Pleeeeease no more southward correction just expand it further south instead ❄

Overcast, v light wind and 3°C. DP 1°C. Not expecting anything today apart from a little bit of sleet maybe along the back edge. Hopefully the signals for Thursday's snow stays and we all get a nice surprise ❄

Here's hoping we all get to see some of the mysterious white stuff over next couple of days. Not sure about tomorrow but Thursday is looking so good for many of us! Currently 0.5°C here at the mo not as low as I thought it would be. Just looked at the satellite and shows the incoming low quite well I think. Also explains why temps have stalled or are creeping up.

Cold rain with the odd sleety splodge in the heavier rain. Temp is now falling Temp 4 Dp 1.5

Very doubtful we'll get anything settling today. Temps have risen quite steadily all morning after the frost Currently 5.2°C humidity 75% DP 1.1°C only saving grace is the humidity is going down. May get lucky with some sleet/wet snow if temps drop during the showers but in this type of set up they normally go to the north and south of us. Hope peeps at higher elevations get lucky!

Great example of evaporative cooling. Woke up to temp of 4.3°C dew point of 1.7°C was 3.9°C when it started now 2.1 with Dp 0.5. More sleety now but lovely bonus for November. Hope we all get to some proper snow in the coming months.

It's very wet snow but the grass is turning white! Wasn't expecting anything today!

Some really heavy showers around today. Last one dumped about 3.5mm in 5 min! Beautiful double rainbow as it left the valley.
