Yay sunshine for the first time in days! toasty 7oC too! I hope that's the last of the dull dank weather for a bit! It really was quite depressing.

As usual they will probably miss Stroud and go just to the south of us! hope I'm wrong! Damn you topography! I like the sound of the Stroud and Swindon streamer fingers crossed The trip up to Birdlip earlier was a bit of a disappointment just a very slight dusting which disappeared very quickly but the journey back was icy.

Well got to hand it to the MetO they said sleet 3-4 and snow from 4 and they got it bang on. Currently 1.9oC and SNOWING!!!!!

Starting to turn lower down too more rain than sleet tho. Temps really falling now gone from 5.4oC to 4.2 in the last hour. 0.5 of that in the last 20 min

Been a beautiful day really has lifted my spirit. Got to 10.5c earlier, temps now falling rapidly currently 7.3c.

Hello sunshine what a beautiful day! The grey and dull was starting to get on my nerves. Seems like forever since we had a sunny day but in reality it was only last week. Seems like a good day to try and fix the weather station. If it can't be fixed guess what I'll be asking for Christmas

Only got today's rainfall total of 33.2mm. My weather station was out of action on Sat so no cumulative read which is annoying!

What a grey dull morning. So glad I don't have to go anywhere today. 19.5mm here since midnight and a small stream running down the garden!

Great to hear people are getting to see something a bit wintery this early. Hopefully this bodes well for winter. This year's model watch has been fascinating so far. Keeping me entertained after knee surgery!

Wow pics are amazing. Never seen punch holes before! A lot cooler today max temp 11.9oC had a very thin layer of ice on the cars this morning and actually felt seasonal walking to work.
