    Snow seems to be fizzling out a bit here now had 14cm since 6am not too shoddy currently -1.1c DP -3.1c

    Good morning all! So the fun really starts now! Light to moderate snow here in Stroud just under an 1inch settled so far, looks beautiful across the valley can't wait for it to get light! I was expecting it to be a lot windier than it is, very still out there. Current 0.4c and falling DP -1

    Been snowing here since about 6pm and have a good dusting on everything. Currently 0.9c DP-0.6. I hope everyone's snow wishes come true especially Cornwall & Devon. I lived in Falmouth for several years and know what's its like to miss out! This could be epic!!! Stay safe all

    Thanks it was more curiosity than anything else. Found this DP calculator which some people might find interesting. http://www.dpcalc.org/ will have my eyes glued to the lamp-post outside my house most of next week by the looks of it.

    Currently overcast here in Stroud, 5.2c humidity is down to 68 and falling DP -0.2c. Would/could sleet/snow fall with a DP below 0 even though the temp is 5+? Sorry if this is a silly question I'm still learning Thanks

    Thanks AWD really appreciate your input on here. Got everything crossed for snow Sun into Mon. Just hope we all get some. Currently 3.5 deg and falling.

    If anyone has netweather extra turn on the social radar. quite a few snow reports around Brum even one in Bath!

    Blackberry Whisky is amazing! Make it every year but not cracked into this years supply yet! Just walked up the hill of death in Stroud (from Slad Road to Bisley Old Road) and there were a few very dense rain drops almost sleet but not quite! Looks interesting over the next week. Here's hoping that everyone gets to see some snow. Always the optimist! good luck all

    The rain has been crazy today! Had to do a double take when looking at my weather station its saying we've had 42.3mm of rain in the last 24hours. Not sure how accurate it is but that's my 3rd highest reading. Thinking of all those who are impacted by this. Please stay safe out there. The rivers will continue to rise even when the rain stops.

    Just put the chooks away and I can report very light snow/snizle in Stroud :-)temp is -0.3 and DP is -2.7.

    Morning all a very chilly -6.6 in Stroud this morning at 7am and the fog has lifted. that's my coldest min recorded all year! only -4.5 in Gloucester they seem to have more Hoar Frost very pretty.

    Have to be in Gloucester at 7.30 tomorrow could be a little interesting but makes a change from flood dodging though! Soo hoping to see some of the white stuff seems like a long long time!!! currently 2.4 and falling rapidly with a dew point of -0.5 :-)

    Another year spent hiding in the shadows. It’s about time to come back into the winter light. Shame we missed out in Stroud but stayed in Bristol last night and drove through sleety showers up the A46 this morn! Fantastic to see something this early. Thank you Ian for the heads up :-) for all those who got a dusting enjoy :-) Hope we all see something good this year in the southwest.

    Morning all. Had a couple of cm's last night starting to melt now. here's a pic for those who missed out and need a snow fix. Such a shame. Hopefully we get another chance before spring :-)

    Started snowing here in Stroud about 20 min ago slight dusting on everything. Hope it continues and intensifies! Temp 0.3 DP -1.1.

    Hi ya It works ok conditions here at the mo is 3.1deg, RH is 69 and DP is -1.6 put it in and came up with a DP of -2 close enough Think with the current situation we just have to wait and see. The models are there just as a guide anything can happen. anyway fingers crossed we all see something. and if not we've got next week to look forward too. Hopefully Good luck guys

    Perry So glad the SW discussion is back! Happy 2012 all. Had a few flurries earlier but nothing to shout about! It's looking so so close for Sun/mon! Some serious radar and lamp post watching coming up I hope! I’m looking forward to sharing the highs and lows of the next few days +! Here’s hoping we all get masses of snow

    Snow/sleet in stroud if only it had been propper snow. mind you more settled in 20 min than in the last 24 hours!

    Little bit of sleet mixed in with the rain now temp has dropped by about 1.5 oC in the last 30min. Current temp 2.3 oC with a dew point of 0.9 oC.

    Currently 4.4oC with a dew point of 2.8 in Stroud. The NW extra looks awesome at the moment I’m sure the South West is there somewhere under all that blue! Hope it will start turning pink a bit later for all who are hoping for snow! not sure if it will settle though the ground seems far to warm and wet only time will tell! Another sleepless night then!
