cheers, yeh i went on website about 40 mins ago and watched forecast, its looking good specially tomorrow quite excited and latest weather on bbc looked good for friday midlands north lots of snow still but awaiting latest chart updates

and more likely to be upgraded to amber as well they quoted

You are very good on your forecasts! shame people don't take notice as much. but you should mention my area more often lol Metoffice seem to be going with what you are saying as well 10cm for many inland areas and more on higher ground and they even mention eventually upgradng to amber warning! so they have strong confidence unless something goes badly wrong in the next 24-48 hours friday is gonna be a good day for yorkshire Liking this comment from the model thread even ecm raw data from the 00z run has the snowline for the onset of 'proper snow' around south yorks. it will take quite a correction to give settling snow south of the midlands. not impossible at T72 but quite a pendulum swing required. this info from the norwegian webiste.

Well same here in Barnsley we have seen poor snowfall, I think we are all getting our hopes to high because of the event in 2010 and would love to see a repeat but will it happen in future? who knows. would be nice if it did happen and finally 1 big blast to end winter! even though we are in "spring" I would just love for a good days snowfall and if it melted next day then thats fine! just want 1 day.
