yeh flakes seem to be increasing here to, family are meant to be going to bedford this afternoon they got no chance, they still think they can make it! but snake pass is closed !

LOl oh yes!! Its snowing at a steady pace but little hoping it peps up and proper snows like big flakes lol! its just like watching "white rain" and its boring lol!!

Good Morning, well still snowing good few cm's here, although its light its coming down at a steady pace but look norh showed snow right through until tomorrow afternoon non stop hoping it picks up to bigger flakes!

Im not east of sheffield, met office update at 4pm still going with about 18 hours of heavy snow for my area

certainly does look good for most of our region will be nice to watch it fall during the day for a change! I am surprised though theres no amber warnings for our region but then there is still time

I still think I am in a prime spot for heavy snow and a good dumping of it, look north forecast this afternoon should be interesting. So the latest met office update at 11am still shows my area for heavy snow 6am - lunctime saturday temp feels like -6 and wind gusts of 37mph

so is that a good thing or bad thing for yorkshire? lol

Charts show snow reaching us by 6am, but Lisa on look north said will be light and patchy througought the day and heavy from friday night into saturday? hmmm we'll see

. It was only a couple of days ago you was happy with what you got this winter and if I remeber rightly you said "happy with what i got so wont be dissapointed if i dont see anymore"???? LOL now ya whinging!! its to early!! shhhh Perhaps go visit a friend in one of the areas that will be hit and stay overnight lol then you can enjoy it!

I often get confused in there sometimes, when they go on about south changes in charts etc but then realise there only looking out for themselfs! ah well! just seen national weather on breakfast certainly looking good for alot of us!

well steve M seems to think some areas in yorkshire will miss out? Morning the models continue to push south, the t54 gfs ppn shows the stall line now alligned Devon up to se Ireland and the eastern extent Suffolk up to liverpool, So in a matter of 12 hours we have lost southern scotland, parts of yorks and linc and now the corner of EA.... Poss time for shifts but thats wheres its sat. Also more pulses of snow into the SE at t 78-90 ECM + UKMO are very similar... I will stick with the MO there going with snow for barnsley 6am tomorrow until 6am saturday im happy with that again subject to change!

Friday is certainly looking to be a good one for some areas in yorkshire and it seems my area may do very well Good forecast from mr hudson wonder how long metoffice will wait before upgrading warning to amber? would be nice to see a RED........
