    This mornings 06z GFS continues with the unsettled theme. Temperatures will range from 9 - 11c rain in the west and strengthening winds to gale force for Christmas day! The days of Snow in December seem to be a thing of the past!

    Nick F: Going by the ECM, South Yorks looks very good! That's only one model, however, and the situation is very uncertain. We have clients in South Yorkshire so might alert the duty forecaster to the potential if he hasn't already seen it.

    Hi Nick, I see parts of south yorks could be favoured as well what area's of south yorks, I am in barnsley and from last nights showers and todays we didnt see hat much but I could see a better set up from this tonight>?

    well it certainly is looking good for us in barnsley! even though we had a couple of CM's this morning nothing to write home about hoping this low produces something better for us

    I still think we could do well and higher you are 150+ better chance like last week I keep saying we done very well despite being told would get a covering! well got alot more than that and cause alot of disruption
