    Well when i was watching the bbc forecast it shows snow for our region this evening, then the snow just dissapears then appears in east anglia lol I dont think the snow willl move that quick perhaps just the bbc speeding up there charts but im hoping we do see some proper snow, could anyone say which part will do quite well south, west, north yorks ?? and what are chances of metoffice upgrading to amber warning?

    Was great to see snow settle in south yorkshire last night, hoping this is a sign of things to come by looks of charts this morning that band of snow coming down from scotland hitting our region tonight then moving south followed by another band tommorow morning possibly into the afternoon good times ahead!

    North Yorkshire normally do quite well from snow, but I am in South Yorkshire Barnsley hoping we do well from this snow on monday hopefully enough to build a snowman

    I tweeted Matt Hugo tonight and asked about snow for south yorkshire and got this response "@MrLeeOT - Tomorrow, might be some flurries high ground, but then especially Sat into Sun, snow showers coming in off the North Sea."

    here in Barnsley we just had a brief sleet shower lasted about 10 minutes but the clounds are gathering again and its getting pretty dark so is there a surprise in store?

    Ahhhhh Deary me, here we go with the daily express lol gotta love there "Attempt" "An Arctic blast from Iceland will bring snow, ice, flooding and bitter gales to Britain next week, forecasters have warned. The Daily Express reports that forecasters have warned mercury will plummet to near freezing in many areas, including the Scottish Highlands and parts of northern England, with daytime temperatures 15C lower than this time last year."
