    Tell me about it! we had 6 hours of just very fine "snow" it wasnt even doing anything just blowing about in the wind lol didn't even look exciting! I want big juicy flakes this time! and "PROPER SNOW"

    Is it to early to forecast which area's could do well? everyone has had a good snowfall but us here in "Barnsley" South Yorks didn't do well from last week but would like to think it will be our turn this week? any thoughts?

    Morning All, another bitterly cold morning with alot of cloud. So potential for more snow Thursday into Friday? not getting my hopes up this time because the last snow event was a disaster for my area in particular so until I see those big juicy flakes I will wait and see! :smilz38:

    Snow starting to melt here now was nice to see it (well for the amount we did have 1-2cm) Hope that's not it! hope we will see a better snow event before end of feb!

    1-2 CM nothing major, hoping there more to come in FEB, would love to see another 2010 Snow Event!

    Got around 1-2 cm its nothing compared to what we was due to get 8-10 CM I hope i'm wrong and Feb bites back with a proper snowfall!

    Well it all seems to be moving towards Lincs and going southwards, what a massive let down! Poor forecast from look north for this area especially I don't hold much hope for the rest of feb especially if this is all it's gonna bring! I say don't bother lol its not worth the hype!

    Weather forecast been on and still showing still in yorkshire until around 1am.......... hoping we see more

    Its been a long time coming hasn't it!! but its finally nice to see it!! been jelous reading about North yorks, york, leeds having a pasting but its our turn lol

    The Woodhead Pass has been closed in both directions because of heavy snow. It is shut between the Flouch Inn, near Langsett, and the Gun Inn, Mottram. Still coming down quite heavy in my area, hoping it will continue for a few more hours they did say between 6pm--midnight will be the heaviest!! BRING IT!!

    Can now report we have PROPER SNOW!!! It has arrived later than forecast but this could be a good thing? hoping it's gonna stall over us for a few hours and let us see some heavy snow! will be happy if it continues like this til around 11pm
