  1. Iceaxecrampon Yep. That's what I'm thinking, or the brown cow at Burrs.
  2. This first week of May often seems to have a warm spell or plume. I can remember countless years when it has happened. I always think of it as the first heat/thunder chance of the year.
  3. I'm going to the ELR tomorrow as it's the only day I can so hopefully it's not going to be too bad or I'll have to hide in a pub lol.
  4. Minimum of just 3.3°C here and it was above 5°C until 4 am. Not quite as cold as I expected.
  5. Remember in winter showers have to survive all the way from the north Sea as they don't develop over land but now they are developing over land instead so can start much closer to us.
  6. Big area of showers over home moving south towards Warrington. I'm out in Liverpool atm and see the dark clouds missing me to the east.
  7. Except a brief sunny interval at midday it's been cloudy with rain on and off. I saw that little feature early this morning predicted but God knows where all this came from.
  8. A bit of rain recently 0.4 mm from another little feature that WRF picked up well.
  9. Not a bad day but a lot of cloud still. Sunny intervals rather at a premium again especially this afternoon. Max 11.7°C.
  10. 0.6 mm rain over night from a little feature in the early hours. WRF had been showing that for awhile. It's done well this year with the mesoscale.
  11. Probably more cloud than sun here in the end; Especially this afternoon when sun has been at a premium. A cold wind has sprung up again. Not brilliant but okay.
  12. Not a bad day. Dry with occasional sunny intervals, around 11–12°C. been in the garden putting a new canopy on the gazebo and bolting it down after it went for a walk last week. football later, hopefully we can see some improvement after that embarrassing European exit on Thursday night. No goals in open play for 6 or so hours is not acceptable.
  13. Dry for 36 hours now. I had forgotten how nice it is to not have everything soaking wet and only just a bit damp
  14. A nice day with frequent sunny intervals. NW wind is still there but much lighter. Dry.
  15. A light shower in the middle of the day giving 0.1 mm otherwise dry with sunny intervals
