Well I must say it's looking amazing for my location in turms of thunderstorms for this week on the GFS 06z with every day from Tue to Fri having a max CAPE of between 400-700 J/KG and Li's of -1 to -3. As for saturday well wow is all I can say! CAPE of over 1000 and a 76% storm chance. I know it's a long way away but still very exciting! Not quite as warm as yesterday and the temp isn't rising as fast. Currently 18.2c, clear and sunny with a light warmsoutherly breeze

a lovely sunny afternoon, not too cold and not too hot with a slight cooling sea breeze. After the steady temp rise of this morning it has maxed out at 21.5c 70.7f though it is possibly a bit lower as the thermometer is slightly in the sun.

currently sunny with light rain falling. You know it's a convective day when that happends. Hearing the odd sferic to but quite far away though. I think there'll be some good convection kicking off when the sun gets higher.

The cold front has passed here now with the temp currently at 11.8c after falling from a peak of 15.3c earlier this morning after a short weak thunderstorm at 0400. The clouds are now breaking and it is nice and sunny and feeling a little fresher than before

it's started raining again now but I've not heard any sferics for a while

a few rumbles of thunder in the last half an hour, might have been more but I was asleep. Havent heard any for a few minutes now but keep getting very long crackley sferics on the radio. Last night I did see some potential by 1000 today but I didn't think anything of it. Totaly unforecast, but then again all the storms in the NW never seem to be forecast. Just hope we get some more. Wow just heard a 4 second long sferic! it's also become very warm and humid with that close thundery feeling that I love.

well I am looking forward to the first proper convective day this year today, not snow, I have given up on that and I think you are all cluching at strors. We have a negative LI and high CAPE this afternoon so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some heavy haill showers may be with the odd rumble of thunder? Just thinking of something else to talk about as it's not just snow that makes the weather interesting!
