Out of intrest, I think I may have heard the radio wave atmospherics from the sola impact last night starting around 2100. I was listening out for lightning sferics and could hear frequent click like sounds. It couldn't have been a storm, because the clicks were every half a second or so. Had a few rumbles from a passing storm over Liverpool at 1600 yesterday. I'm quite pleased with that. Looks good for this afternoon (Wednesday) as well.

haven't heard thunder or sferics for a wile now. Think we're in for a heavy shower at least though.

have heard 4 rumbles of thunder in the last 10 minutes from a developing storm. Here we GO! Clouds black to the south.

looking forward to some thunder this afternoon, more so now after someone told me that we had a storm last wednesday morning. Surely that was impossible though as we were under high pressure then? Someone tell me that wasn't true? I missed it!

sorry to disapoint but all sferics have stopped now. The west midlands cell weakend quickly and is now no longer electricly active. Sorry

just heard a rumble of thunder about 3 miles to the southwest. A developing cell.

just had a torrential shower with one crack of thunder 2 miles away and a runble at last!

towering cumulus clouds to the south here. Just had a shower 15 minutes ago but now the sun is out and helping convection

wall to wall sunshine already here so alot of insolation going on, a good sign.

nice potential for today in my area; metoffice going for heavy thundery showers from mid morning. GFS projects between 700 and 900 J/KG CAPE and -3 LI for this afternoon so looking good. Heard some very distant thunder yesterday so hopefully something better for today.

where are you Tim. Lots of sferics now I just don't know were they are coming from!

have heard some close sferics around but heard no thunder though
