    Very heavy frontal rain here also, but the temp is 18.7c as it has been all morning. Must be to do with the cloud and me being on the coast. Hope I get a storm this afternoon, there's sertanly a lot of moisture out there.

    can hear some close sferics which are increasing in frequency, don't know where they are coming from though, anyone know?

    just had a torrential downpour here, not electrical though.

    I think I might get lucky today as I seem to be in a good place. I like the bit in the TORRO forecast on the possibility of issuing a tornado watch for my part of the world later on.

    that's not fair thunder in Preston I got that cell and it was just a torrential downpour with no thunder! There seems to be a streemer of showers passing my location now though.

    A very warm, humid and cloudy night with Southerly winds increasing. Currently 18.1c which is the minimum. The min was infact warmer than any night minimum during last weekends spanish ploom!

    Well I'd given up hope for any storms after the cirrus cloud came over, it just felt quite cold and fresh but now the sun has come out again and it's feeling humid again. I think something might just kick off here around 1730/1800 may be.

    for all us northwesterner's don't forget the metoffice forecast for our area: "an increasing risk of heavy thundery showers with haill possible". There's still time for us I think

    It's probably the pre frontal trough that is forecast to move NNE and give thundery showers to the west.
