  1. Scuba steve me too and you know I love extremes and I can't stand boring dry sunny weather for too long but I would do anything for some of that right now.
  2. Yet more heavy rain incoming although there has been a strike just off the coast this time.
  3. Very heavy rain for last few hours. Already 1.6 mm since midnight, 8.3 mm yesterday. Now up to 51.1 mm for the month and 325 mm for the year.
  4. And the rain is back. Only drizzle at the moment but no doubt it will get heavier. It is 14.2°C though.
  5. Rush2019 i've been keeping an eye on it not much cape but let's see. i'll have the radio on just in case.
  6. Well it's been raining again and it looks like I won't see the Sun until Thursday. Just feels so strange in April. 38.9 mm for the month, 313.2 mm for the year already.
  7. Well when I came out of band practice this afternoon... guess what... it was raining again... heavy driving rain yet again. I did see the Sun this morning and I feel very lucky. it only happens twice a week now it seems.

  9. Lightning in South/East Cheshire again; have been very lucky so farthis year.
  10. Good Friday was great here; missed all the showers which was frustrating from a thunder perspective but nice that we kept a dry day. Saturday was beautiful all day. Yesterday was a bit meh and today has been disgusting.
  11. A fair amount of CAPE south of Preston this evening especially south of Chester. Will anything make it this far north? Let's see. The last couple of times this sort of setup has occurred it has not gone well.
  12. Over Ormskirk now. Still occasional strikes. Will miss me to the north. Dad reports torrential hail.
  13. A chance later for some more heavy showers with lightning. Tomorrow looks slightly better in that regard but let's see how today goes. Flow is 170° at 60 kmh veering 220° later
