    Ill get excited when I hear the 1st rumble of the year in the distance, till then ill enjoy the weather and banter

    I cant believe how flat this season has been so far even by UK standards its been poor

    But if they hadnt predicted any storms yesterday would we not also be berating them now...they have to plan for the worst case scenario to tell/warn the general public not accomodate for us storm chasers We should know better then that

    Cant even see any flashes from North of the storm just lots of low cloud which is annoyin seen as tho I was watching a storm on the Dutch coast a few weeks back clearly grrrr

    Any ideas which way the storms are heading, clouds tell me the winds going NW but not sure the storms are following that pattern

    Cant believe all this is kicking off if I hadnt read it here i'd have never know, currently its nothing but gloom at my location with mist obscuring me seeing houses I know to be 2 miles away...complete contrast

    Are any of these storms forecast to go on into the night, lots was mentioned about storms in Yorkshire but havent even seen a drop of rain so a night storm in the distance would be a nice bonus to the weekend

    Or even worse here furthur inland where its even more humid lol...glad people are getting storms though finally I feel its been a late start for all

    Im sat enjoyin watchin a storm flash away to itself well over towards the dutch coast at the moment, must be an intense storm as its frequent flashes :unsure:

    Im guessing anything electrical is all down south from here on in then, are any storms due to carry on into the night got a crackin view 5 storeys up so may catch somethin in the distance

    The cell that past over Leeds heading towards the east coast has now past me and become thundery from the rumbles im hearing in the distance

    This phone picture is lookin west towards the cell over Leeds, not very clear but its already very very dark without sunlight on it

    Enjoyed 2 short but sharpe showers around 8:30 and 10am this morning and now have brilliant sunshine but also a close muggy feel to the air

    Any electrical activity going to carry on throught the night as im seeing cloud flashes looking to my south at the moment

    Just had a massive change of direction from easterly to northerly and an intense rain storm that lasted only 10 mins all the way up in Yorkshire

    Discovery Weather would be a good one, maybe a few programs about storm chasing, weather phenomenon (sp?) tornados thrown in throught the day between weather updates would be a fav on my Sky +

    Got a heavy heavy downpour over Selby heading East atm a few intense CGs but mainly CC's as it comes towards us Anyone east of York/Selby area look to your west you should be able to see the rainfall atleast its that heavy Digital camera doesnt get here till tomorrow
