    Allthough the models are not showing anything remotely cold.really.i think the track of the weather systems crossing the usa need to change because for the last 2weeks they have been movjng from sw to ne once that changes they hopefully our weather might change . In saying that its been lovely here in nw wales for the last 6 days ish!

    Any news on el hierro? The reason I ask this is because they have reported an earthquake of 3.9 there this morning which is quite strong compared to other quakes.

    why is gfs saying tbat it will be 19c in my location today when with the weather being drizzly and breezy i will be lucky to see 12 or 13 c? in actual fact i doubt anybody will see 19c!!!

    wow!!! just came in now and had a look at latest earthquakes.... how many earthquakes/tremors have there been on that volcanic island of el hierro today!!! could some one have a graph to show how active its been today????

    in these years of hot endings to september and early on in october what have the winters been like?

    i too was woken up by a thunderstorm at about 4ish i think.. very heavy rain and about 6 lightning strikes .. the wind really picked up during it too! we have been lucky for storms here this year!!

    winds are still picking up in my local met office weathr statio(capel curig) now gusting 82mph!!!! , i wonder what the wind is like on top of snowdon this morning.. must be over 100mph!!!!

    a gust of wind in capel curig reached 75 mph about an hour ago!! very windy here!!
