Best solution I think will be south enough to cover southern counties/London/Essex whilst showers effect areas further north. I am certainly in the mix for a snowy wash streamer given a north easterly wind on Sunday/Monday.
Looking at the models I would put the highest risk currently probably in line from Norwich to Ipswich east where the precipitation will likely be heaviest. This could change of course given it is 3 days away.
Sounds intriguing Capt'n.

Did you think it will be a short sharp cold spell or a lengthy one?

Meto text forecast gone from snow on Sunday to dry and cold.
Just watch Meteogroup (BBC) follow suit in future forecasts.
A silver lining is a small break from the relentless rain at least.
Yup, mine too, and the nights are drawing out slightly to boot.

Yep as expected Sunday snow going down the $hitter for the SE - never really bought into it anyway so no loss, If no snow Models will be 7 from 7 with misfires which is pretty impressive, surprised GFS has dropped it already to be honest thought that might keep with it until Saturday. As it stands
ICON, Arpege, GFS, Ukmo, UKV all say No Snow
ECM says yes but its record for placement of snow is nothing short of appalling and I would expect it to predict snow in Cape Town at 40c more than the SE Of England.

Lovely mild day out there.
Roll on spring.

Grim Rainfall Totals
Its not a question of "if" but WHEN the RED ALERT Warnings are dished out for the next 3-4 days. Lets just thank our lucky stars we are not in those affected areas but I fear for areas of Wales and the NW Of England
Yep, not looking good at all.

Thats optimistic mate wouldnt call it wet snow at all unless you are in a different part of Stevenage?
Drizzle, again, in Potters Bar.
Will be heading back to Codicote in an hour. Expect drizzle there to, not snow.

What a pile of pants...............even satdee's chance has been down graded to a flake or two if you're lucky.
The flip side, is that hopefully, our spring/summer/autumns are going to be cracking for hot weather, from hereon in......................
I know it's only 14th Jan, but I'm bored now. Roll on the heat.

Getting heavier here and trying to settle on wheelie bins, grass, cars and roofs! Not quite there yet.
As mentioned, a staggering difference of temperature across the SE quadrant.
You can go off people.......................
