Bloody bbc stops before it gets to east of EA cheers beeb is it going to reach us or not ?
-
Best post all day Damian, well thought out and very plausible projection of events! Given the size of that low coming out of Greenland what a way to empty the PV's tank over that side of the globe. A very plausible route indeed.

For rain here in Norwich :-(
-
It has not gone past snizzlein Norwich all day what gives? Get reports in Yarmouth of heavy stuff and reports of heavy stuff in pebourough but nothing more than snizzle here.

I think West Norfolk are going to miss out on this one, just that little bit too far north. Bitterly cold in the wind so I'm not sure I'd want to be out in it anyway!
It will hit soon its slowly traveling north into Norfolk as well as going north

Nice piece of reverse psychology by me here - Level 5/6 snow for the last 5 minutes or so
Aye finally coming down now

Ponce it's in Norwich now, we'll just south west very small flakes but blowing a very cold wind
-
Ea going to get pasted in an hour or so !
-
Exactly ponce! Even though we got 6" in the week we also need a top up over this way. I do t trust the met forecasts said we would get it Friday and we got nout then.

Quit with this westward talk we got not in Norfolk and Suffolk
Nout*
-
Doesn't seem to be reaching the east of the region either
-
What time do the fun and games begin tomorrow then ?
-
Anyone think Norwich looked very far north and east of Norfolk on bbc look east?
-
East of the area covered by this thread.
cool beans

Yep, I'd go along with the widespread 5cm, some spots could get more, while the East part of the region looks well placed.
This can get confusing, you say the east part of the region do you mean east part of three counties or east of EA ?

Back to blob watching our best snow comes off these night time blobs in the East of EA

Hope it stalls for all you guys who haven't had much yet. We have had enough already.

Hi guys just popped in from the EA thread I'm based in Norwich and have already taken quite a hit the last week. Just popped in to see if the fun and games have started for you guys yet and to see if its on the right side of marginality for you ? Fingers crossed for you

I'm now happy to say this week and hopefully what is to come has topped 2009 and 2010 winters for here in Norwich the amount of snow, cold and it's relentlessness is very rare for us when we normally miss out on the fun like in 2010. My only memory which is yet to be beaten is of 1986/7 as a kid we had a foot. This spell had now cemented itself in my memories

Justin go on rain today.co.uk to see the path of the precipitation this way you can gauge when you are likely to get some snow and how long for. It's a bit behind present time but helps you track it's course and intensity
Raintoday.co.uk. Auto correct fail!

Big joe going for a return around valentines day. Seem to remember his late December forecast mentioning a respite/milder condition and then a return to the cold of better proportions. Trying to find more but this is all he has tweeted so far.
