  1. Woke up early this morning to see and hear rain, then proper snow. Starts to settle then snizzle and it’s gone! About 4pm starts snowing again, go for a walk, nice dusting. One satisfied lady (for now!!) x
  2. I can confirm I have snow mixed in with the rain, known as sleet. X
  3. Good morning all you mad people! Just woken up, quick look out the window and it’s still raining, Should I go back to bed for a couple of hours or stay up? Hmmm...
  4. Temp and dew point going down nicely now Was told today that I’m obsessed! I wonder why? Time for bed now after a frantic day of scrolling and going from one tab to another. Good luck to us all and see you in the morning. I think I may sleep with the curtains open.....x
  5. Hi all you lovely people! Am I allowed to be a little excited being right down here on the coast? Sledge is now to the front of the shed and have been to Tesco this morning just in case my usual Tuesday shopping day will be a snow day instead!! Now waiting in anticipation. Just love it when this thread comes alive and looking forward to all the winter wonderland photos! X
  6. I would like to say a big thank you for all the “winter wonderland” photos and videos that you’ve all been posting. Down here in Bexhill I’m still desperately waiting for my first flakes to fall! Like so many on here I’ve had a rubbish year. I lost my mum just before Christmas and my dad has dementia. So many difficult and heartbreaking decisions have to be made... SE regional has been my escapism where I can forget about my “real world.” The snow chase and chat on here has been great and may it continue for a few more weeks. It’s a glorious frosty, sunny, crystal clear blue sky day here. Perfect for another long walk in lockdown!! Love to you all and thank you once again!! X

  9. So was Ninfield! Thawing now though. Cannot believe how local it was! Photo of the village church and a little robin that came to visit the snowman I made!!
  10. Just got home from being out to dinner. Raining hard when I left at 6pm but coming back along The Ridge in Hastings just now the rain changed to snow and it is coming down here like "feathers" and settling!! Now I've got to read back through the pages to find what's happening!
  11. Sorry Bluebell must of missed your reply last night This thread was moving so fast it was hard to keep up and I popped out for a bit! I haven't been in my local for ages so I don't know if it's any good or not. It used to be ok!
  12. Morning all! Managed a quick walk before "my snow" melts away. It has been raining.... First time trying to add photos... hope it works!! They're not that wonderful either but hey ho I've tried!
  13. Got all togged up and went for a walk with my torch, it was snowing lightly. Since I've got home moderate fine flakes are falling covering all surfaces. Lovely to see!!
  14. Heavier, bigger flakes and settling as soon as it lands! Woo hoo!
  15. Out the back door again and snow is falling. No lampposts in my road in Ninfield!!
  16. Just managed another sneaky look out the back door! Nothing much to report from here in Ninfield. Fingers crossed for us all later!
  17. What a beautiful morning. Busy getting all my work done so I can concentrate being on here later as well as checking the radar, temperature, dew point etc! Have a good day. x
