    Been away from here for a few days as I've had family staying........Can't believe I've missed wishing Coast a "Fab Holiday" and " Congratulations" for his "50th".........(hope you're having a brilliant time!!)............ Had rain on and off this morning here but now the sun is trying to make an appearance.........also it's windy.....

    My face actually caught the sun today........wish I dared to bare more...!! (didn't even get my arms out.......!!)

    Lovely sunny day here again........Even managed to sit in the garden to eat a cheese and pickle sandwich followed by a slice of fresh cream sponge all washed down with a good old cuppa.........a sign of things to come........I hope....!!

    Turned out lovely..........no coat needed........ got a garden chair out and sat in the sun, good to feel the warmth on my face..........even saw a butterfly!!........

    Us girlies are all the same...........a bit of sun shining............a bit of wind blowing...........I changed all the sheets today............lovely to get them dried outside instead of all hanging all around the house!! Also planted my first lot of seeds this afternoon...........nice and warm working in the green house.........(Still wouldn't say no to a few more snow flakes falling)....!!!!!

    I haven't ventured out too much today..........only taking numerous cups of coffee to hubby who was working on a car outside and sticking my head out the back door to call him for lunch, dinner etc!!........ It's been lovely having a lazy day and now we and the kids are just about to settle down for a movie evening huddled round the fire with our drinks and nibbles!! ..........Feels more like Christmas than Easter!!

    Mine is in a work shop, in a box with straw and then in another box of straw!!.......it is amazing what they get up to.......!!!

    This is the 5th year I've hibernated him and each year he has woken up naturally.............I find it fasinating......nature is a wonderful thing!!!.........

    I'm glad tortoises have been mentioned..........mine is still in hibernation...........is it OK to leave them? (he is still well buried) This will have been the longest he has hibernated..............!

    Morning all. Wet and cold here this morning.........My poor snowmen are slowly losing their battle to live........their faces keep falling off and one of them is leaning at a very delicate angle!!........Will they survive.....??.........Have a good day ....

    Just had the biggest and heaviest snow shower here..............so grabbed my coat and the kids and went for a walk..........started turnung everything white..........lovely while it lasted.........

    Morning all......had a slight dusting overnight......but has since melted............blue skies and sunny start but now clouded over.....heard those dreaded words on the forecast this morning "wintry mix".........Still, hoping for something white later.....................
