    Afternoon everone. Well that was a very lively night, thunder, very bright lightning, gusty winds and heavy hail!! Kids slept throughtl while hubby and I got up, made a cuppa and watched it!! Got up late this morning and also been to Soch cheering on Jenny Jonesi!! Trying to sort out camera and settings to capture "northern lights" as this time next week will be on the plane to Levi in Lapland..... Enjoy whats left of the weekend...sometimes it's very enjoyable doing little all day!!

    Hi everyone!! Would like to send very best wishes to JennyJane and to Southerman for a speedy recovery...... MK have a great holiday. Enjoy the "sunshine"!! Where I'm going in four weeks time it is -32 there at the moment!!! Brrrrr!! Also I would like to share with you all..........My mum got the "all clear" yesterday, after battling with non hodgkins lymphoma for 4 and a half years......brilliant news

    Hi John, hopefully I will be seeing skies like this soon in Lapland!! Hubby treated me to a "proper" camera and tripod so I and going to try my damn hardest to capture them!! Got alot of reading up to do to learn how to use it though!! Been really lucky in the past and have seen them three times, just hope they put in an appearance the week I'm there!! I booked this holiday over a year ago, now just five weeks to wait!! So excited!!!!! Sun has come out here, temp 7.7c (Yes........Santa brought me a weather station....just waiting to see the snowflake symbol magically appear!!) Hope you all have a good weekend..

    Hi everyone!! I would like to wish you all a belated "Happy New Year" and hope your Christmas wishes came true!! I apologise for not doing it sooner but for some reason my PC wouldn't let me post!! Sooooo fustrating as it has gone on for a long time and me not being very good at sorting these things.........still I'm up and running again for the moment!! (Just through luck I hasten to add, don't know what I've pressed to fix it!!) I have kept up tp date what you have all been up to and my thoughts have been with people who have lost loved ones or have been unwell. Also I share in the good news of births, new jobs and good medical news!! So to the weather......sun, cloud and a bit of blue sky........I can feel excitment in the air........!!

    Hi everyone!! Not posted for a while but have kept up with all the gossip! Had a bit of everything here today, heavy rain, hail, thunder and lightning. I was out in it with the kids and we got drenched.......kids thought it was a great fun!! I hate driving with "steamed up" windows. Looking a bit brighter now. Hope you all have a great weekend what ever you are doing!!

    I have great interest in these cameras as I'm off to Lapland next Feb, (always looking for the first snowfall)!! This will be my 4th time..........such a magical place. Got down to -25 last time I was there. Experienced frozen eye lashes!!

    A perfect evening yesterday (in more ways than one!) for Ninfield's bonfire and parade. A bowl of "Chilli", "Bucks Fizz" and "Toffee Apples!! were waiting our return!! ....Yummy!!...Today on the other hand was a total wash out!!

    Morning all! Another lovely day here at the moment with the sun trying its hardest to shine!!. Hope it doesn't rain Saturday evening as Ninfield is holding its annual bonfire and parade!!. Best wishes to all those who are unwell at the moment. x

    Hello fellow friends! I have really enjoyed myself today along with the weather. This morning, (after a little lay in), I tided up the garden. Emptying pots, cleaning the patio, putting umbrellas and such like away and sorting the greenhouse out. For some reason I found this quite rewarding!! After lunch it was for a walk in the woods to "gather" some blackberries with the family....and I have now just eaten a lovely roast followed by (need I say) some blackberry and apple crumble with "blobby" cream.........yumm!!

    Hi everyone. Not posted for a while, but have popped in and out through the Summer catching up with all the news.........sounds like some of you have had good holidays, days out and celebrated birthdays in style!!....... (Belated good wishes to all of you!!) I cannot believe where it has gone.....children go back to school on Wednesday (boo!!).. dreading getting up early again and the routine of things......packed lunches, reading, spellings and trying to help with homework that I don't really understand!! ......... I have really enjoyed the holidays.........a week at St Margarets Bay........a weekend in Margate (staying with family) ........a day at Chessington......an evening at Eastbourne Speedway........tanning in the garden.......eating dinner outside..........days on the beach and swimming in the sea .......lazy evenings eating outdoors with candlelight taking over when the sun starts to go down.............Perfect....!!..Seeing the sun this year has made such a big difference......Loved it!!. Going to make the most of the "good" weather to come but also looking forward to what Autumn and Winter has in store for us........!!

    Put one of those "pretend" swimming pools up yesterday..................and had the perfect day today with the family........ dipping in and out of it to cool off after catching a few rays.....we all look a little "sun kissed" this evening!!!!................Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather............

    Just enjoyed a hot and sweaty hour laying in the garden catching a few rays and listening to some "tunes" before the kids come home from school.........lovely.....

    All this talk of hot and sunny holidays makes me wonder why I've booked Lapland for Feb next year...!! Could really do with lying on a beautiful beach right now..........ummmm.....

    Well the dreaded " lurgy" has reached my household!!............... My son was up most of the night with a sickness bug.....at the moment he is snuggled up on the sofa watching "Top Gear" so I think I will venture out into the garden on this glorious day................Why does the sun seem extra bright when you are tired?
