  1. Hi BB, seems we're up against each other in the London & SE Snow Depth Cup ;-) I'd say I'm currently sitting on 1.5cm, hopefully lots more to come. Hope you do well from the lubbly snow x
  2. My children have disowned me! I wasn't aware I was singing 'I'm snow excited' on a continuous loop, they're threatening to stay with their dad for the weekend! (I can imagine that song would be a tad annoying if you're on the receiving end... Non stop) . It's like Xmas morning here, only this time 'Santa baby, slipped a blizzard under the tree, for me' (you're starting to feel for my kids aren't you!) Well anyway, no snow here yet.... But it's almost here..... Have a wonderful day people, take lots of pics :-)
  3. It's fine, me and the celebs have sneaked in some booze and fags in prep for tomorrows snow watch. Apparently (if this doesn't say cockroft when referring to a bbc forecaster, I have maturity issues) Cockshock is checking in tomorrow, he's taken the backlash of dire forecasting rather hard! (and I totally do have maturity issues but no help for that here)
  4. Oh no! Hope you get to see a rerun, it was so pretty. :-)
  5. Coast, you really do crack me up! If I could bottle you and sell you as a tonic I'd make a fortune :-D
  6. Currently having cavity wall insulation installed, it's perfect timing hut Brrrrr with the front and back door wide open whilst it's being done. Hope it will be worth it, my fingers are so cold I can barely type....
  7. Ah, the classic pivot scene..... Pivat.... Pivat.... PivAT.... PIVAAT.....PIIVVAAAAT...... Shut up, shut up....... SHUT UP
  8. Wooooo, sing it with me people.... I'm snow excited, and I just can't hide it.....
  9. Right goodnight fellow snowheads, off to read Zombie Fallout, have a wonderful evening watching lamp posts in the snowy areas and I look forward to reading all about it and seeing your lovely pics tomorrow x
  10. Me too, I missed out on his last tour. He just absolutely makes me cry with laughter. Being born in sarf London and growing up with a cockney family helps! And on a weather note.... Noticeably colder..... I have nothing else!
  11. I don't even need to watch it, I've seen it so many times I think I know off by heart.... Mickey Flanagan, legend!
  12. Woop, woop! I don't care if it all changes (well... I do) I'm just gonna enjoy this whether it's fi or not, don't show me any more runs, let me just bathe in this potential til Friday (where I will have ample amounts of vodka to rejoice or soothe with) might even add a little something to Coasts excitement puddle....
  13. Thank you Shrimper, fantastic post that even I understood. I really appreciate it, from a very novice pov, that makes lots of sense :-)
  14. Think I might put myself up for dancing on ice as I performed an unintended triple axel on a frozen puddle this morning. I wouldn't say it was faultless, there was some unsightly flailing of arms, but I stayed upright and managed to pull it off (well, certainly feels like I've pulled 'something' anyway!
  15. Good morning all from a dry, bright and chilly Haywards Heath. I was just wondering, as I've seen some murmurs about a possible dusting this weekend, has the initial forecast from a couple of days ago been downgraded? I remember reading initially that we could be in for something a bit special this weekend, though it was in the MOD forum. Don't panic, I'm not asking for a will it or won't it snow, I'm just curious as to whether it's changed or whether it's just a case of everyone remaining tight lipped in case it doesn't come off? Glad to see some of you guys had some snow last night, great to read Paul S's excited reports of 50p flakes whipping sideways in the wind after his no flake scenario the other day!
  16. That is fantastic! Great vid too, I'm so, so glad that some areas of the UK have seen some of the elusive white stuff. Thanks for sharing this (and thanks to Paul too for dragging you over here)
  17. We've had a heavy mix of rain and snow in Haywards Heath for the past hour or so, it's stopped now but it looked really pretty in the garden light, like lots of mini fireworks shooting down. I've never seen it like that before, in tried to video it but it looks too dark on the playback.
  18. If you scroll to the bottom of the screen you should see a button for 'full site' which will show you the desktop version rather than the mobile one. You can see everything then.
  19. My daughter has just run round the house screaming "IT'S SNOWING".... It isn't, there is a dusting on the roofs and garden furniture. I've no idea where she gets this crazy excitement for snow from.....
