I cannot agree with you more, the news channels did and awesome job of helping others. despite the heartbreak, death and destruction, I still want and will be jopining the entweather chase teams outthere. once in alifetime chance for us UK folk me thinks and to be there to see and help if needed would be a truely inspirational and rewarding experience. I was watching this through live streaming last and. althought i was tired i couldnt keep my eyes of it. Absolute devastation to the Alabama area. Iw as hoping it would let up but it was one after andotehr after another and more developing as they past. thought are out to the families of the state and of course the families of lost loved ones. Very dangerous situation last night and the people who came out the otherside were lucky. I would dread to think how many fatalities there would haveb een if the news centres never documented and foloowed the storms like they do. thanks for lsitening Gee

welcome to the site! as someone said on ehre earlier, you can buy detectors however the accuracy aint that great. look for strikestar on this site its free and has over 30 detectors around the country. someone can fill u in in more details as i have no clue! while i am on here, Middleton had the edge of the storm that is tracking north through uyorkshire and lancashire. great strikes! sky is lovely!

Looking at the forecast for Sunday into Monday, furthuer outbreaks of snow warned for the majority of the UK. Where will these be coming from? E'ly I would presume! Any more evidence to back up whats coming and will it be significant falls or just a dusting? Cheers Gee
