    Radar issue - 10:30 Due to an issue at the Met-Office we're currently not recieving radar data which is resulting in a blank radar image being produced. They are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it asap, apologies for any inconvenience that this causes.

    Something coming towardsManchester or over it in places, gone dark now with rain getting heavier as we speak, a few cracks of thunder bit o lightning but nothing more!

    I Can confirm that Manchester has jus tbeen in a short but intest thunderstorm which is not moving east. went straight through the middle! ACE!

    Manchester needs some of this!!!! will it hit at one point? Just looked at radar pic. Its above manchester! Noo far north! This Storm shield seems to be a bugger this year!

    I feel I am too far north to be getting anything interesting, although METO have an advisory for MAnchester and the area. What are the probabilities? Please someone tell me we ar getting the storm that we got a few years back! Man that thing was Huge!

    I hereby solemnly swear that I Graham Moore has not witnessed a single storm so far this year in 2009. And that if a storm decides to show up and surprise me I will be more then happy to resign my membership and notify the NSC immediately. Garham Moore!

    llooking at www.sat24.com there seems to be a coud mass edging its was NW towards the Manceshter area! stormy? Hope so its been very warm and muggy here at times. potential anyone?

    5 min radar just showed a massive increase in activity over graeter manchhster, showers developing over northern regions, culd this start to produce and build as we watch with our eyes!
