Its a bizarre situation as this crops up every year! i am lead to believe that if you dont check in at Dublin, you will not be able to board at LHR but definitely worth an ask. maybe call customer services and they may give you the same price? another reason, i think they try to subsidize flights through BA's biggest hub at T5 LHR so going Via there makes you spend money at T5! what flight are you on from LHR? Myself and Tom are on the BA0193 on May 29th...

Hi Newbie! Graham here! You are lucky enough to have me as one of the team drivers for tour 4! although its not compulsory, we always recommend coming in a day before the tour starts, this is mainly for 2 reasons: 1 reason and most important, if there is a risk on the first day of the chase/changeover day then we could be on for a bonus chase day, if we are all ready to go the day before we can saddle up the horses and gallop along the highways! 2 if there are any delays to flights, the extra days grace doesn't put any pressure on guests making sure that they do not hold up the tours! sounds horrendous putting it that way but its the easiest to explain! the extra day does allow to meet up with fellow chasers on the tour and of course enjoy a beverage or two the night before! as for hotels, Tower Road is literally a row of hotels! loads of them. the Days inn is the popular one with our tours and you will more than likely be with the rest of the team here! plus its closer to the bar! let me know if your on Facebook we can also connect on there!

i use a normal size suitcase, mainly to bring Paul all of his make-up but generally for the Camera equipment! a hard case one is worth the effort too.

i live in north manchester, (rochdale/heywood/bamford) and the snow is like a conveyor belt and hasnt stopped for hours, looking at the radar, a peppering is looking like it will be in for the day and no warnings? M62 closed schools shut and all we get is a mere yellow warning. an amber one would make the public more aware i think?

i think the only thing goign into meltdown is thie forum once we get fully underway with the Cold air.....nowcasting is getting closer and closer and will be the most accurate forecast model!!

i suppost in the long run yeah keep the cold at bay but id like to see 2 or 3 FEET!!!!
