    No, I am fairly new to the site and am not very educated with all the weather maps, models (what are they?) etc but I am trying to learn I have friends who subscribe to his forecasts and swear by them... and they are people who rely on them for their work etc... Personally I haven't found a forecaster yet who has got it 95% right!!! I'm here to learn and will look forward to reading all your updates and glean what I can to make sense of them x

    I was woken up by the wind and rain lashing at the window last night - no mean feat as I can sleep thru anything. We only have a v small chance of snow this week, increasing by friday to up to 40% likelyhood.... 60% unlikely I must bookmark this page at work so I can post more often. I spent half the day looking at loads of different weather websites... Piers Corbin has some interesting things to say re Thurs and Fri :smilz38:

    Really frosty here today and had to scrape my car even though I didn't go out until after 10! Weather looks interesting towards mid/end of the week - hoping to get a dusting of the white stuff at some point. Its possible.

    Aha, that would be me then Can I join you please? Glad to have somewhere to chat about our weather... Bit blustery here today but nothing compared to Scotland. I've been following that thread and its really nasty up there. I wouldn't mind having some exciting weather down here but more in the way of the white stuff, not roofs blown off.

    Snow has stopped suddenly and the wind has picked up....

    Its throwing it down here again now and the skies look full of it! Much bigger flakes than we saw on Fri/Sat. I've got frozen pipes already which I am trying to defrost but am getting a bit concerned now.

    Well we've only had a slight sprinkling here today on top of the 4 inches we already had... I see we are all on alert but haven't seen a forecast today so no idea what the picture is...
