    It has been rumbling quite a lot here, or it was anyway!

    Constant lightning again for some time now and continuous rumbling gradually getting closer. So humid!

    Coming down a bit heavier now as I popped out to the bins!

    Well it's certainly gradually getting heavier here.

    I remember that event well, it was excellent here in Ockendon. This morning we have an inch or so everywhere except roads and pavements and it's been snowing since quite early, some of it huge flakes!

    I think that's good news for my area then? Been snowing steadily for a while now and the sky looks full of it!

    We've had a few heavyish horizontal showers late afternoon, one of which I got caught in, but it hasn't got above -1 in my back yard today. Lethal underfoot too!

    Temperature seems to be dropping rapidly now. -3.9.

    Looks very like my back garden this morning! Whereabouts in Ockendon are you? My daughter managed to get to work in Tilbury quicker than usual this morning! But my hubbie only managed to get as far as Barking on the train so he is coming home again!

    My hubbie took the easy way out today and decided not to squeeze himself onto a packed train. His motorbike was out of the question too!

    Yes and the last lot has only melted in the sun! plenty left in the shade still!

    Are you not in South Ockendon anymore Kold? I always followed your posts as a fellow Ockendonian! I shall continue to do so of course!

    And I'm even further down in Ockendon! We did well here for snow in December 2010 so here's hoping for another good dump this time around!
