    I posted earlier in the week. Im going snowboarding on the 12th jan to italy. Why does it always snow here when i go away. Its happens every time i go. I think i would rather stay here if the charts turn out right. Gutted i could miss a snow fest.

    You will get snow between the 12th jan and the 19th. Im going snowboarding on the 12 th. Every time i go it always snows here.

    Yes been there once before. The town is not that atractive. But the snowboarding was fantastic, huge wide open runs that go on for miles. Great for intermediates and beginers. The link with zermatt was open all week when we were there. What a place that is....plus cervinia town is at 2050 meters . So i think the snow is pretty reliable. Cant wait to get there.........

    Even with all the computing power there is these days. The models will never be accurate 7 days in advance. not even in 50 years time. the weather will do what the hell it wants.

    The beast from the east a cometh. If the easterly is still showing in the next few days then i will relax. Until then caution needed. Amazing charts from the ecm though.

    Is that the eiger i can see. Great webcam. Im off to cervinia jan 12th looking good there 40- 80cm over the last few days. And more to come by the looks of it.

    i think there is agood chance that pressure will build to the north within the next 10 days or so. where who knows. it has been showing in the latter time frames of the models for a while now. a quick question when you get the temps at two meters off the gfs are they temps from sea level or do they take into account the differing altitudes across europe?.

    just a quick question. is it possible that the pv could set up shop say over siberia or northern canada. or does it usually set up over greenland most of the time. im sure if it set up shop over siberia that would allow stronger heights to build over greenland. is this right?

    looking at the charts i cant help thinking the euro high could really show its hands after the weekend.

    the fact is antartic sea ice is at near record anounts . why should this be.happening if temps are warming down there. plus artic average tempshave been on the normal side this year.
