Im just a few miles from alvechurch. Currently blue skies, but we've had just a couple of very small flurries. Whats the prediction for our area today. Bbc say sny showers should be gone by afternoon

I couldve predicted this a week ago. We are supposed to be travelling tomorrow to Birmingham for the day, so the first bad weather of the year was always going to come and ruin my xmas. For those new on here , I suffer really badly with Anxiety , and get really stressed about travelling when conditions may be bad. Im also working the weekend, tho I only have to travel about 4 miles - but pssed off as I had booked it as holiday (thats another story). The BBC chart is showing the snow from early evening , but when you watch the actual footage on BBC it shows snow from mid afternoon ?

Hi Fizz - always nice to be welcomed back . You know me - only appear when its extreme weather ... ice, snow, ... all bad for my horrible travel anxiety Snow easing here, and didn settle.

Snowing here in Redditch but not sticking yet. Is it supposed to last ? Have an appointment lunchtime - typical .

I kept meaning to predict a heatwave on 13th july, as I was going to wedding in london then - and hate the strong sun / heat. Typical - it was still so warm by the thanes at 11pm Just wondering when you guys think this hot spell will actually end? Thx

Wish it would stay very cloudy as i wanted to go to an airshow at Pershore - but I burn so easily these days Im having to stay away Good weather is good news for most though . Clouds do seem to be clearing here in Redditch

Seems to have gone bitterly colder again . Looking at the BBC 10 day forecast there is no sign of it warming up either ?

Sunny here in Redditch, but the sky is a really strange colour. Very dark grey . Very light snow flurries, but sky looks like it could do anything. Does feel warmer outside - can you believe were saying that about 4 degrees temp this time of year ! No signs of it really warming up next week either .

Some of my family were planning a day at Drayton Manor tomorrow. Just wonder what the roads are likea round that area , and is it going stay freezing but dry as predicted by Met Office. Thanks guys.

MAin roads and even side roads around Redditch are fine. Sorry to ask , but BBC / MO is showing snow for us Friday evening . Does that mean winter still isnt over yet

Light snow here in Worcs. BBC are shwing light snow for next Friday . Please tell me this isnt correct . I was praying we had seen the last of this , and could get some half decent weather to be able to get out and about at last.

no snow here for a few hours. Much brighter and roads are now clear. Thawing well. No more snow pleeeease

23rd March and were stuck in for a nother few days. I understand you guys love it though.. Having been out of work for 5 weeks, not being able to drive to get out is totally doing my head in. And no Prem football to enjoy either. Was hoping the roads around the West Mids would be clear by tomorrow, but Im not so sure now , as it shows light snow all day. Snowing well here in Redditch and sky looks full og it. Main roads may be okay - but cant see them from here.

Strange - sky had become much brighter, then suddenly its started to snow here ! Only light tho'.

about 5cms here in Worcestershire . Roads are fine , tho side roads very slushy. Sky very grey. And if I have a penny for every time the radio says "this time last year it was 20 degrees" ....

Oh its perfectly believable . First time Ive been out fo work for over 5 weeks , and its been the worst period of weather ever. And no sign of the end of it ? Like I predicted ...I can almost guarantee the weather will improve once Im back at work (hopefully both soon !)

I dont get why ice is good - dont you have to drive ?
