    Been a real let's build an Ark kind of day in Fort William today absolutely lashed it down. A82 closed with Land slide and Corran Ferry off 160 mile detour created.

    Lived in Fort William all my life, when someone from Fort William says its very heavy rainfall, everybody else would be using terms like biblical and monsoon.

    Signing on for winter 2014/1 5, complete set of Dunlop D4 winter sports will be fitted to wife's car beginning of week plenty of meat left on my Continentals from last winter, daughter got Goodyear 4 Season Vectors fitted to hers yesterday. Fort William weather is windy and bucketing rain and We've had it so good this year!

    Here in Nevis Area mountains have an unbelievable amount of snow on them, a sudden and pronounced rise in temp and resultant thaw will cause floodmageddon downstream.

    Speaking to someone from Anoach Mor today one of their wind recorder records peaks and troughs it basically went over 100mph and stayed their for 5 hours yesterday morning.

    Anoch Mhor had a dusting of whiteness down to about 3,500 feet level yesterday (Friday), something similar on Ben Nevis late afternoon.
