    Hee Haw snow here in the Fort, was a bit breezy earlier on, not so bad now, but tomorrow may well see the unleashng of the Lidl weather station.

    Subaru Forester ready for the winter just to fit new spark plugs, which to be fair ain't the easiest of jobs on these boxer engine. Best car I've ever driven in snow.

    Snow was down below the top gondola station earlier on, just a dusting but its a start.

    SNOW on the hills, down to about 3,500 feet just a dusting but thats the start of it.

    The Subaru past its MOT yesterday come on winter bring it on. The weather has been pretty poor/wet here been a bit galling watching all the scorching stuff else where.

    Nice enough day today, also bought a weather station thing out of Lidl, for £19 can't complain,, does anyone know if they are any good..

    Bit breezy here but nothing to write home about yet.

    Well got the boat out, but theres still plenty still in Loch Linnhe which are going to ride it out. In the morning a last tie down of the garden ready for the main event.

    Went to local Yacht club and some zoomer has taken his 1.5 ton boat out on Friday and collapsed his trailer its still there tonight blocking slipway and Loch Linnhe is still littered with boats needing to be out of the water. What kind of wind speeds do you think will be gusting up Loch Linnhe Mon/Tue.

    Mrs WHS reports she couldn't see any snow on the summit of Ben Nevis from the foot of the north face at 1pm today.

    Can't see the top of the ben for cloud, from the house, but could see the top of adjacent Carn Dearg its clear of snow, her that has to be obeted is away up to the CIC hut at the foot of North Face of the Ben she'll be back soon if there is any snow she'll be able to see it. Will report back.

    Well, apoligies for absence, West Highland Storm clocking back on for the winter, just about to go out and start cutting more wood for the winter. I have a feeling it will be a cold one.
